Case study
Booth photography for Disciple Built at the AAOS 2025 Annual Meeting in San Diego. OrthAlign’s Lantern Knee and Lantern Hip booth, captured clean.
Disciple Built designed OrthAlign’s AAOS booth as a teaching tool. The Lantern Knee and Lantern Hip platforms are explained across full-height messaging walls, app-screen graphics and open product counters a surgeon can walk up to and handle. Photography had to make that legible. Looking good was not enough.
The window is narrow. AAOS fills the San Diego Convention Center, and clean sightlines exist only before the aisles open. Halls are also lit for people rather than cameras: mixed overhead color, hot pools of light on white counters, and deep navy panels sitting next to bright screens in the same frame.
Walked the booth with Disciple Built and prioritized the angles that carry the story: the aisle approach, the messaging walls, the product counters.
Shot in the pre-open window with the aisles empty, working elevations and three-quarters so the structure reads as one built environment rather than a set of fragments.
Balanced hall lighting against the booth’s own. Detail held in the black panels, screens and white counters kept clean.
Handed over a portfolio-ready set for Disciple Built, plus frames OrthAlign could pull for its own channels.
Every elevation, messaging wall and product counter photographed before the aisles opened.
Both product stories captured the way the booth presented them to surgeons.
Shot on the show floor at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons annual meeting.
