West Coast Exhibit builds custom trade show booths for Toyota, Pixar, Mattel and 200 other brands. In 2025 an attack took the website down and the previous team had nothing to restore it from. We rebuilt it and took over search.
What happened
A hack took the website offline. The team running it held no backups, so the business had forty years of reputation and no web presence to point it at.
A rebuild after an outage is not a design job. Rankings decay while a domain is dark, every URL search had indexed needs somewhere to land, and the replacement has to be structured well enough to win positions back rather than just look better than what was lost.
The numbers
Google Analytics figures compare calendar year 2025, the year the rebuilt site launched and SEO began, against the year before it. Keyword and AI figures are current as of August 2026.

What we rebuilt
There was no old site to restore, which meant no obligation to repeat its mistakes. We built the structure the business actually sells through.
01
Six service pages
Trade show exhibits, fabrication and production, retail activations, tradeshow management, experiential marketing and events, each earning its own rankings.
02
Service area coverage
California and Las Vegas pages, because a business with two headquarters gets searched in two markets.
03
Project case studies
Pixar, Medicom Toy, Bayside and more, so 40 years of client work is doing sales work on the page.
04
A quote path with intent
An instant budget range tool and a book-a-consult flow instead of a contact form that goes nowhere.
05
Editorial that rebuilds authority
A publishing program aimed at the topics the domain needed to own again after going dark.
06
SEO from the first wireframe
Structure, internal linking and content mapped to commercial terms before a page was designed, not bolted on after launch.
Timeline
Whether the problem is a rebuild after a failure or a site that has never earned its traffic, the fix starts with structure.
