Case study
eBay brought Two Eighteen in to build their activation for Chappell Roan’s festival at the Rose Bowl: a pink pavilion of pre-loved fashion with a sequin wall, a carousel pony, and a line out front that did not stop. We covered the build and the crowd it pulled.
A booth on a trade show floor can be shot clean at six in the morning. A festival build cannot. From the moment the gates open there is a line, and the line is the point. It is the proof the thing worked. So the build coverage and the crowd coverage had to happen in the same pass, in daylight that moved the whole time.
It also had to produce two different sets of assets. Wide frames that show what Two Eighteen built, and portrait frames of guests using it, which is what the brand and the artist audience actually share.
Photographed the structure and the interior sets, including the sequin wall, the vanity vignettes, and the pre-loved rails.
Covered the line out front and the floor at capacity, because attendance is the clearest evidence an activation landed.
Shot guests using the photo sets and the carousel pony, framed in portrait and ready for social without a recrop.
Portfolio-grade stills and short form video cuts, plus the full original library, handed to Two Eighteen ready for pitch decks and social.
A public activation offers no empty room, so the structure and the audience were captured inside the same window.
Stills and motion from the same team, matched across both, shot in changing daylight.
Shot to the standard Two Eighteen uses in pitch decks, social, and client presentations.
